PURPOSE:To prevent the delay of rising time of the electrostatic charge potential of a sensitive body after repeated use by forming a eutectic complex layer contg. a pyrylium dye, an electrically insulating polymer and a specified compd. as essential components between the substrate and photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:A eutectic complex layer 13, an electric charge generating layer 21 and an electric charge transferring layer 22 are successively laminated on an electrically conductive substrate 11. The layer 13 is formed by dissolving a pyrylium dye such as a dye represented by formula I, an electrically insulating polymer such as a polymer having a moiety represented by formula II in the principal chain and a compd. represented by formula III as essential components in a desired solvent and by applying the resulting soln. In the formulae, each of R1 and R2 is (substd.)aryl, R3 is alkylamino substd.phenyl, X is O or S, Z is an anionic functional group, each of R4 and R5 is H, (substd.)alkyl or the like, each of R6 and R7 is H, 1-6C alkyl or the like, R8 is a prescribed bivalent group, each of R<1>-R<4> is H, (un)substd.alkyl or the like, Ar<1> is (un)substd.aryl, Ar<2> is (un)substd.arylene and n=0 or 1. |
