PURPOSE:To form a decorative body with an optional shape with a simple device by arranging plural formed wire rods made of metal to butt these to each other and fixing adjoining butt parts in order by welding. CONSTITUTION:The plural decorative wire rods 1a made of the metal such as Al, stainless steel, etc., which are formed to a prescribed shape are arranged in parallel to butt adjoining expected places to be welded to each other. These butt parts are pressed from the right and left by side pressing tools 3 and pressed from the upper parts by upper pressing tools 4. Then, electrodes 5 and 5 are arranged on the right and left and electrified and weld zones 2 are formed by the spot welding and fixed in order to form the decorative body A. Accordingly, the decorative body of an optional shape can be formed by the simple device without using a large-sized device to cut, extend, etc., materials.
