PURPOSE:To improve accuracy of machining in a corner part, by equipping a machine with the first discriminator discriminating a machining speed for whether or not it reaches a predetermined value, second discriminator discriminating the present machining position for whether or not it is an out-corner part and a control unit controlling the machining speed to be locked to the predetermined value by signals of both the discriminators. CONSTITUTION:In finish machining, the first discriminator 12 generates a signal when a cutting amount decreases with a machining speed reaching a predetermined value. While the second discriminator 14 generates a signal when the present machining position reaches in the vicinity of an out-corner from information of a control unit 11. A control unit 13, by the signals of the discriminators 12, 14, controls the machining speed, when it reaches the predetermined value, to be locked so that the machining speed is prevented from increasing to the predetermined value or more. In this way, a machine, controlling the machining speed to be locked to the proper value in an edge part, promptly decreases the machining speed even in the linear machining immediately after change of direction, and no overshoot and no undercut are generated.
