<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the titled differentiation agent for plant callus cell usable in a wide variety of culture media without necessitating rigorous control of concentration, on an industrial scale at a low cost, by culturing a microorganism belonging to Enterobacter genus, exterminating the bacterial cells in the culture liquid and collecting the objective agent from the liquid. CONSTITUTION:Enterobacter sp No. 11-5 (FERM P-8884) which is a microbial strain belonging to Enterobacter genus is cultured in a medium at 37 deg.C for 90hr under shaking and 1N hydrochloric acid is added to the culture liquid to exterminate the bacterial cells. The objective plant callus cell differentiation agent can be produced by removing the cells by centrifugal separation and collecting the supernatant liquid. The culture of the microorganism is preferably carried out in a medium containing tryptophan as a medium component.</p> |
