PURPOSE:To surely clamp a disk in a horizontal state with no eccentricity by providing the projections having outer diameters approximately equal to a disk clamping hole on a counter surface between a clamper and a spindle table. CONSTITUTION:Four projections 34a having their top parts formed in the taper shapes at 90 deg. intervals are provided on a counter surface to a clamper 52 of a spindle table 34. At the same time, the recess parts 34b are formed at the parts adjacent to the projections 34a. The outside distance of each opposite projection 34a is approximately equal to the diameter of a clamping hole D1 of a disk D and this disk D is positioned by the projections 34a of the table 34. Thus even if the disk D gets out of one of two opposite projections due to the external vibrations, the other opposite projection is put into the hole D1. As a result, the disk D is surely clamped in a horizontal state with no eccentricity.
