PURPOSE:To drastically reduce burrs caused on a rough forging by composing the rough forging die for dissimilar forging by two lower dies of specific struc ture and one upper die. CONSTITUTION:The rough forging die in the case of manufacturing a knuckle steering as a dissimilar forging is composed of 1st die 7 and 2nd die 8 as a lower die and a 3rd die 5 as an upper die to take the gaps between the outer peripheral face of the 1st die 7 and the inner peripheral face of the 2nd die 8 and between the outer peripheral face 57 of the 3rd die 5 and inner peripheral face 80C of the 2nd die 8 in 0.05+0.3mm. The 1st die 7 is arranged inside the center hole 81 of the 2nd die 8, a round bar like metal stock w1 is forged to form the rough forging W2 for a knuckle steering having a cross burr W25 and consisting of the long cross part W20 having a drawing part W22 and the vertical shaft part W21 provided at the lower part of the center thereof. lt is finished in a nuckle steering E as a dissimilar forging product via finish forging C and deburring stage D.
