The present invention relates to a garment of the blouse or dressing-gown (bathrobe) type made of a nonwoven material, for example of the type which can be disposed of after one or a few uses. Such a garment is intended particularly for use by those persons likely to follow very strict hygiene rules, and this garment may also be worn over other garments. Production of this garment consists in folding in two a piece of nonwoven material 1, then in taking up each half-panel in order to fold it at the level of this median part parallel to the initial fold 4 towards the outside so as to obtain a concertina-type folding, then in making a cutout 2 in the upper part, arranged on the initial-fold 4 side on the four panels defining the necks (collar sizes), as well as a cutout 3 in the upper part of the two secondary folds 5, defining the openings of the sleeves, finally in opening the initial fold 4 and in placing closure means 6, such as self-adhesive pads, on the opening parts 7 and in assembling the shoulder zones 8 by stitching or adhesive bonding. <IMAGE>
