PURPOSE:To omit a central monitor or the like and to guide a customer by allowing a center to inform the setting place of an automatic transaction processor in operating to a downed automatic transaction processor at the time of generating the down state. CONSTITUTION:Plural automatic transaction machines (ATM) 1 are connected to the center 2 by on-line through private lines, the center 2 has a deposit account file, a transaction condition inputted from the ATM 1 is informed to the center 2 at the time of transaction such as payment or deposit, and the center informs the validity/invalidity of the transaction to the ATM 1. The center 2 has also an ATM list, and when a fault such as system down is generated in the ATM 1, the contents are informed from the ATM 1 to the center 2. When the contents of the downed ATM 1 are informed to the center 2 including the operating ATM list as a down telegram, the center 2 retrieves another ATM in operating and informs the setting place of the re trieved ATM to the ATM transmitting the down telegram. The downed ATM displays the setting place of the ATM in operating received from the center 2. |
