<p>A programme-controlled machine tool for the metal cutting of work-pieces (12), having at least one automatically opening and closing tensioning device (14) for a work-piece (12) to be worked within a working space (20) of the machine-tool. A collecting receptacle (24) receives the work-piece (12) after it has been worked in the tensioning device (14) and carries it from the working space (20). The working of the work-piece (12) and the tensioning device (14) are controlled by automatic command (52), a signal triggered by the exiting work-piece (12) being monitored by the collecting receptacle (24). The signal should then be carried by vibration, caused by the impact of the work-piece (12) on the collecting receptacle (24) after movement along a free trajectory. If the signal persists throughout a given period of time (t) after the tensioning device (14) has been opened, the machine will not proceed to introduce and work the succeeding work-piece (12).</p> |
