A switching arrangement for influencing the reverse light which can be switched on via a switching device which is assigned to the reverse gear of the motor vehicle is proposed, a flasher pulse transmitter which can be driven by means of a switch which can be actuated manually being assigned to the reversing light in order to inform the traffic behind promptly of an intention to reverse, and the switching arrangement being constructed to ensure that the flashing function can be switched on until the reversing light is switched over to continuous operation by means of the switching device which is assigned to the reverse gear.
