HANDLING METHOD OF FABRIC MANUFACTURE

A textile product is of synthetic fibres opt. blended with other fibres haivng surfaces treated with a block copolymer (I) comprising polyurethane- and polyorganosiloxane segments. Treatment of the textile with an aq. mixt. of hydrophilic and thermally reactive urethane prepolymer (II) with blocked isocyanate gps. and an organopolysiloxane. (II) pref. has more than 4 esp. more than 5 wt.% blocked NCO content. The textile is used in the manufacture of sportswear and treatment imparts good hand touch and highly durable resistance to fibre melting due to sliding friction.
