PURPOSE:To improve analyzing accuracy be extracting an image converted into another color space from a color digital image, extracting a hue image having a hue component from said extracted image and analyzing the hue image in its space frequency area. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is provided with a color converter 15 for converting a digital color image displayed by using the three primary colors into another color space, a hue extracting device 16 for separating and extracting the image converted into the color space in accordance with the hue to obtain a hue image, a rapid Fourier transfomer 17 for calculating the space frequency of the hue image, and a display device for displaying the space frequency. The image converted from the digital color image into another color space is extracted, the hue image having a hue component is extracted from said extracted image and the hue image is analyzed in its space frequency area. Thus, highly accurate image analysis can be attained. |
