<p>An artificial pericardium comprises an envelope (1) made of a biologically neutral elastic material, corresponding to the size of the heart and provided with means for its fixation to the latter. The envelope (1) is shaped as 8-like strip, one loop (2) of which has a larger surface area than the other one and is provided with a protrusion at its head in the form of a tongue (4). The fixation means consists of a guiding channel (5) running around the periphery of the strip located in the channel (5) of a tube (6) made of an elastic material and of an elastic trigger cable (7) mounted inside the tube (6) with the possibility of reciprocal movement.</p> |
