In a measuring unit for flowmeters for liquids, the measuring-instrument housing is held on a housing part of a connection piece which is located between a housing inlet and a housing outlet. The measuring-instrument housing and the housing part of the connection piece holding this each form one of the two parts of a bayonet fastening which are to be interlocked. This bayonet fastening allows a mounting of the measuring unit on the connection piece in a manner which can be executed quickly, a specific position of the two parts relative to one another being guaranteed and calibrating work thereby being capable of being carried out quickly and with high accuracy.
