The present invention relates to novel 5-oximino-13 beta -carbonylthiomilbemycin derivatives of formula I, to their preparation and to the use thereof for controlling pests. The invention further relates to pesticidal compositions which contain at least one of these compounds as active ingredient. The novel compounds have the general formula I <IMAGE> (I) wherein R1 is hydrogen or an alkyl, cycloalkyl or acyl group, R2 is methyl, ethyl, isopropyl or sec-butyl, or is the <IMAGE> group, wherein X is methyl, ehtyl or isopropyl, and R is hydrogen or an unsubstituted or substituted straight chain or branched C1-C18alkyl group, an unsubstituted or substituted cycloaliphatic group of 3 to 10 carbon atoms, an unsubstituted or substituted C2-C6alkenyl group, an unsubstituted or substituted C2-C6alkynyl group, an unsubstituted or substituted phenyl group or an unsubstituted or substituted benzyl group. |
