PURPOSE:To permit outputting of an alarm during a REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep period by mounting electrodes of two points on both sides of the heart and earth to the body and measuring a heart rate. CONSTITUTION:A sensor block 4 is constituted of the electrodes 1 mounted on the two points on both sides of the heart by means of a band, the earth electrode 3 and an amplifier 3'. The clock is constituted of microcomputer 9 consisting of a CPU 6, a memory 7, a counter 8, etc., and a clock block 13 consisting of an oscillating circuit 10, a clock circuit 11, an alarm circuit 12, etc. The data on the average value of the interval time of the heartbeat pulses measured by the sensor block 4 is stored together with the time from the clock circuit 11 into the memory 7. The CPU 6 decides the REM sleep period from the data inputted thereto. The CPU compares the information on the REM sleeve period and the data on the freshly and successively obtd. data on the heartbeat pulses and outputs an alarm signal when the REM sleep period just before the alarm time is detected. The alarm is outputted at the set alarm time when the REM sleep period just before the alarm time is not detected. |
