<p>PURPOSE:To readily extract and separate a metal, by bringing a metallic ion- containing aqueous solution into contact with a specific acid phosphoric acid ester. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous solution containing metallic ions such as Y, lanthanoids having 57-71atom. numbers, transition metals, such as Cu, Zn, Ti, Fe, Zr and Nb, at acidity of pH <=0 or phosphoric acid is brought into contact with an extracting solution of an acid phosphoric acid ester expressed by the formula (R<1> is 7-18C alkylphenyl; R<2> is 1-18C alkyl) which is an extracting agent [(e.g. (1,1,3,3,-tetramethylbutyl)phenyl n-butyl phosphate], as necessary, diluted with a diluent, such as kerosene, so as to provide 0.1-1.5mol/l concentration to extract and separate the metal.</p> |
