PURPOSE:To permit high-speed continuous shooting by correcting the controlled variable of an exposure control means by an exposure control correcting means, then making the ensuing photographing when the output level of an image pickup device exceeds a prescribed range at the time of continuous photographing. CONSTITUTION:An exposing operation to an image pickup means is first executed by a release operation at the shutter speed and diaphragm value set by an arithmetic processing circuit 23 based on photometric information 19 by a photodetector 5 in full-aperture metering at the time of continuous shooting, in the same manner as in single shooting. More specifically, the exposure to the element 6 is monitored at every one exposing and even if the luminance of a subject changes and the exposure deviates from a correct range in the exposure set value (shutter speed and diaphragm value) at the start of the continuous shooting, the exposure set value is so corrected as to attain the correct range and the photographing is continued. The continuous photographing by the correct exposure and the high-speed continuous shooting are thereby permitted. |
