The invention relates to a high-voltage plug connection of explosionproof design. It consists of two connecting pieces and one joining piece by means of which the connecting pieces can be screwed together quickly and easily. The joining piece has an insulating tube with a cable duct into which the cable ends of the connecting pieces project. An electrically conductive contact piece is arranged in a fixed position in the cable duct, which contact piece produces the electrical connection between the two high-voltage cable ends.
