The charging device consists of a transformer and supplies 34 volts and 40 amperes. As already disclosed, three batteries are contained in the rectifier. The transformer consumes 450 watts and must be fused at 20 amperes. The battery oven consists of a thermostat and regulates the 3-mm-thick heating rod. The battery oven contains two relays; one is for the blower, and the other is for the battery and is picked up at 34 volts and the rectifier then switches off. At 26 volts the relay drops out and the rectifier is thus switched in again. The two control lamps are for the blower and the other is for the battery.
