Large-area mounting units (2) which are insulated from the metallic outer walls of the cabinet are installed in the interior of an electronic cabinet (1). These mounting units are used for accommodating the mounting racks (5) and the electrical apparatuses. In terms of screening, the mounting units (2) together with the mounting racks (5) and the apparatuses thus form a dedicated, insulated arrangement which has very good interference radiation protection. The zero potential of this insulated arrangement is passed via a suppression inductor (6) to a central earthing point (7), at which the outer casing of the electronics cabinet (1) is also earthed. <IMAGE>
