Dye diffusion process

Coloured diffusion images can be produced by a rapid process in which a first sheet-form material which contains, on a layer base (support, carrier), at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer and at least one non-diffusing dye-releasing agent and/or a second non-photosensitive sheet-form material which contains a binder layer containing a salt of a weak inorganic acid and a strong organic base, is/are moistened with an aqueous liquid, after which the two sheet-form materials are warmed to from 50 to 120@C in contact with one another on their coating sides and are subsequently separated from one another.
