PURPOSE:To shorten an address conversion time with a simple circuit, by providing a comparing means for comparing a second base address outputted from a segment table device, and the second base address outputted from a storage means, and also, outputting a write instruction of the storage means. CONSTITUTION:The second base address outputted from a segment table device 2 and the second base address outputted from a storage means 4 are compared, and when they coincide with each other, a coincidence signal is outputted. On the other hand, when a comparator 7 compares each base address and they do not coincide, a discrepancy signal is outputted, and also, a write instruction is outputted to the storage means 4. Subsequently, when a page table device 3 receives its discrepancy signal, a physical address is retrieved and outputted, based on the second base address updated and stored in the storage means 4 and a logical address. In such a way, the address conversion time can be shortened with a simple circuit.
