<p>An air cleaning device consists of a hollow container (3) having an air suction port (1) and an air discharge port (2), a fan (4) disposed in the container (3) so as to deliver the air from the air suction port (1) to the air discharge port (2), a driving means for the fan (4), at least one kind of air cleaning filter (6) provided between the fan (4) and air suction port (1) and/or air discharge port (2), an imitation plant (7) provided at the upper portion of the container (3), and porous decorative pebbles (8) arranged so as to cover the root of the imitation plant (7). Since at least part of the decorative pebbles (8) and/or imitation plant (7), which are directly exposed to the outside air, is given deodorizing function, this air cleaning device provides an appearance of a potted plant of a superior decorative effect, and highly efficient air cleaning and deodorizing functions.</p> |
