Apparatus for determining the density, in particular for the determination of the antifreeze content, of aqueous solutions

There is described an apparatus for determining the density and thus the degree of antifreeze action of aqueous antifreeze solutions, in which the density is determined by means of buoyancy bodies and the rising or sinking of the buoyancy bodies is observed by means of light gates. The apparatus is arranged in or on the container filled with antifreeze solution and thereby makes possible continuing monitoring of the solution.
