<p>A field core (11) and an armature core (4) are fitted directly to a cylinder block (31) and a clutch plate (33) which is frictionally coupled with a clutch disk (26a) is fitted to a rotating field pole (2a) fixed to a crank shaft (8) of an engine, through a cushion member (34) in such a manner as to define a space (35) between the clutch plate (33) and the rotating field pole (2a) at this frictional coupling portion. Accordingly, the frictional heat at the coupling portion of the clutch plate (33) due to opening and closing of the clutch is cut off thermally by the space, the temperature rise of the rotating field pole (2a) is limited and deformation and damage of the rotating field pole (2a) can be prevented. The cushion member exhibits the effect of absorbing various vibrations resulting from the connection and disconnection of the clutch plate (33) with and from the clutch disk (26a). Furthermore, the heat generated in the field winding (3) and the armature winding (5) is radiated to the cylinder block (31) through the field core (11) and the armature core (4), and the temperature rise of the rotating field pole (2a) can be checked effectively by both the radiation and said space.</p> |
