<p>PURPOSE:To have a tilt angle of a swash plate easily reset for maintaining a wide range of refrigerating capacity, by specifying the curvilinear form of a long hole in a hinge mechanism, in the case of a compressor whose compressive capacity is varied by a variation in the swash plate's tilt angle. CONSTITUTION:A stroke of a piston 13 is varied by a variation in the tilt angle of a swash plate 19 and thereby compressive capacity is varied as well. A curvilinear form in a long hole 18c of a hinge mechanism 18 is set up so as to cause a piston top clearance to become the smallest when the swash plate's tilt angle is the largest as well as to cause it to become the largest at an area small in the swash plate tilt angle. Thus, even if a variation range of the tilt angle of the swash plate 19 is narrow, it has a wide range of refrigerating capacity and, what is more, the swash plate 19 can be easily reset to such a direction that is increased from the state that the tilt angle is the minimum.</p> |
