PURPOSE:To improve throughout by using plural magnetic disk control devices, and performing independently access and data transfer operation to a magnetic disk device. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic disk access instruction given from a host device is received by a common control part 4 via a control bus 2. The part 4 reads data out of a magnetic disk controller part 7 and a magnetic disk device 9 and stores them temporarily in a data buffer memory 13. Then data are read out of the host device and stored in a common data buffer memory 5 via a data bus 3 and a queue is a waiting line for transfer to the host device. The part 4 extracts successively the request out of said waiting line and transfers them to the host device. Thus the data transfer actions are carried out independently and in parallel with each other and no revolution waiting phenomenon occurs at the device 9, thus throughput is improved.
