PURPOSE:To provide satisfactory acceleration feeling proventing the recurrence of slip when a slip ratio has continuously been less than a set value in the range of manipulated variables of an accelerator greater than a set value by setting up a control characteristic map higher than the present control characteristic map to be selected. CONSTITUTION:An operating means (c) is provided so as to operate a slip ratio between tires and road surface based on driving wheel speed (a) and vehicle speed (b). A map setting means (f) storing plural number of relationship of the throttle opening to manipulated variables of an accelerator as a control charcteristic map, is provided by a map selecting means (g). And when the slip ratio has continuously been less than a set value in the range of manipulated variables (d) greater than a set value, a map wherein the increment ratio of throttle opening to manipulated variables of the accelerator is increased beyond that of the present control characteristic map, is selected by the map setting means (g). A target throttle opening value is set up (h) based on said selected map and manipulated variables (d) of the accelerator, thereby controlling (j) throttle opening in accordance with said opening value.
