PURPOSE:To facilitate continuous displaying of a plurality of displaying patterns by forming second anode patterns on a second conduction part and a second phosphor part and laminating the second anode pattern on an inner surface of a light transmissive window member. CONSTITUTION:On an inner surface of a face glass 8 in a reducedpressure container 1, light transmissive conductor parts 9 coated with phosphors 10 which have a luminous color higher in visibility than that of the phosphors 4 are disposed in accordance with desired displaying patterns. When electrons are projected in the up and down directions from a filament 6, the electrons are accelerated by grids 5 and 11 so as to impinge on the phosphors 4 and 10. Thereupon, desired displays are formed outside when light from the phosphors 4 is emitted through a conductive film 7 and the face glass 8 and also the light from the phosphor 10 is emitted through the conductor part 9 and the face glass 8. Hence, even a figure in which a plurality of displaying patterns are used can be easily displayed as a continuous figure.
