PURPOSE:To select various addition information and to add it by providing a registering means for registering plural addition information which should be added to data, a key input means for selecting the plural addition information of the registering means and a means for using both as a registering key which registers the addition information to the registering means as the key input means. CONSTITUTION:A titled device has a facsimile device main control part 1, an operation display part 2, a memory 3, a read control part 4, a recording control part 5, a sensor part 6 and a communication control part 7 and adds the addition information to the data so as to communicate. For example, by combining ten keys, etc., the meaning of function keys, used for various kinds of registering of telephone numbers abbreviations and ID, etc., the specification of time and various kinds of mode sets such as multiple access, relaying confidential, etc., is switched according to the existence of an original and the keys are used for selecting user abbreviations (scroll and set). Thus, the selection of user abbreviations can be realized in a simple system at low cost.
