摘要 PURPOSE:To make transfer printing quality excellent, to enhance color density and to obtain a highly intensive fluorescent color, by successively providing a heat-meltable substance layer based on waxes and/or a resin and a heat- meltable ink layer based on a colorant, a fluorescent substance and, further, waxes and/or resin on a support. CONSTITUTION:A recording medium 1 is formed by successively providing a heat-meltable substance layer 13 containing waxes or a resin and a heat- meltable ink layer 11 containing a fluorescent substance 2 and a colorant 3 on a heat resistant support 10. By a printing means like a thermal head 5, the heat-meltable ink layer 11 is melted to be transferred to transfer paper 6 and an image 12 easy to cut from the heat-meltable ink layer 11 at the interface of the first heat-meltable substance layer 13 and the heat-meltable ink layer and having high transfer capacity, high fluorescent intensity and high color density is formed to the surface of a printing transfer image 12. In order to prevent the lowering in thermal transfer capacity even when a large amount of the fluorescent substance is used, a wax like substance solid solution and/or a resin solid solution imparting thermal response is used.
