PURPOSE:To reduce the time required for connection of telephone communication by using a detection output by a busy detection means so as to redial another destination telephone number registered corresponding to the abbreviated number automatically. CONSTITUTION:Plural destination telephone numbers corresponding to an abbreviated number are registered in a memory element 1 in the inside of a telephone set and the destination telephone number corresponding to the abbreviated number dialed at calling is sought out of the memory element 1 to apply dialing to the opposite subscriber to the destination telephone number. If the opposite subscriber is busy, the busy tone obtained from the telephone station is detected by the busy detection means 2-5 provided in the inside of the set and the other destination telephone number registered corresponding to the abbreviation number is redialed automatically by the detection output. Thus, it is not required to redial the other telephone number and the time required for the connection of telephone communication is reduced.
