<p>The invention relates to road surfacing. The asphalt with a strong natural surface roughness, consisting of a mortar and chippings, in which the mortar comprises a mixture of bitumens and a filler, is essentially characterised in that the said mortar comprises, as sand, an artificial or natural material with a suitable particle size and a density of between 3 and 5 g/cm<3>.
