<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the maneuverability of the titled device by erasing a preceding start ID signal in accordance with a shifted distance between a start ID signal recording position and a program recording position and recording a new start ID signal for a prescribed period. CONSTITUTION:A tape 10 is reproduced to detect an offset value, i.e. a shifted distance between a start ID signal recording position and a program recording position and the detected value is inputted to a memory in a system controller 20 through an input device 26. When the offset value is positive, the preceding start ID signal is erased only by the offset value and a new ID signal is recorded for a prescribed period. When the offset value is negative, a new start ID signal is recorded for a prescribed period and the preceding ID signal is erased only by the offset value. Consequently, the maneuverability can be simplified, other information such as a program number to be erased can be copied on the position of a start ID signal to be newly recorded and a reference position can be prevented from being lost due to the erasing of the start ID signal.</p> |
