<p>Polyarylate polymers or copolymers derived from (A) substituted phenolphthalein compounds or mixtures of these compounds with other bisphenols respectively, and (B) a mixture of isophthalic and terephthalic acids exhibit improved thermal properties. Also disclosed are polyarylate alloy compositions comprising a phenolphthalein polyarylate or copolymer and a polymer resin selected from polybisphenol A carbonate and polystyrene.</p> |
