PURPOSE:To perform the management of the constitution data sets of the input/ output devices with high efficiency by providing a means to allocate a setting level to the constitution data on each input/output device and to optionally exchange these set levels with each other. CONSTITUTION:A level is allocated 22 to each data set 21 of the constitution data on plural input/output devices. Then two levels to be exchanged with each other are supplied 23 and two optional levels are exchanged with each other via a means 24 by changing the picture information on a display device of a service processor. If level '0' is usually used, for example, and the use of the data set of constitution of another input/output device is desired, the relevant data setting level is replaced with the level '0' and the constitution of the input/output device corresponding to said level is usually available. Thus it is possible to perform the management of the constitution data sets of input/ output devices with high efficiency.
