Process for producing bristle products comprising a bristle carrier made from mouldable or foamable material and plastic bristles (6) anchored therein, in that the bristles, in the form of individual bristles or bristle strands, are passed through channels (5) into a mould for the bristle carrier, are thermally melted at the end thereof located in the mould for forming a thickened portion (7) and subsequently the mould is filled with the bristle carrier material, whereby the thickened portion on the bristles is brought by tensile forces on the latter into sealing engagement with the opening (8) of the channel carrying the same.</p> |
