There is disclosed an openable rectangular window frame 20 which is assembled from four window sections secured together, at least one of which has on one side a hollow inner upstand which forms one limb of a channel shaped mounting for receiving a glazed unit and also serving to receive therein a gear casing of a main espagnolette fitting 22, and on an opposite side thereof a groove in which a mounting plate of the espagnolette fitting is mounted. A pair of corner drive espagnolette fittings 24 are provided on the window section 21, and are coupled with the main espagnolette fitting 22 by a direct mechanical coupling, so that a single actuator (not shown) fitting in mounting hole 26 can operate the main espagnolette fitting and the corner drive espagnolette fitting simultaneously. <IMAGE> |
