PURPOSE:To grasp the state of a system by a telephone set and to easily and simply monitor by receiving the call signal of a telephone by a receiving circuit and transmitting the relevant information of the state of a device in a message by a sound generator according to a telephone signal. CONSTITUTION:A system controller 4 is provided with the receiving circuits 6-1-6-3 for receiving the telephone call signal and the sound generator 5 and the state information of the respective devices of a cash batch processing system is stored in a control part 6-7. For instance, when the telephone set 9-1 calls the telephone of an extension number 10, the receiving circuit 6-7 operates, the state information is fed to the sound generator 5 from an address corresponding to the extension number 10 of the control part 6-7, a message to the effect that the system is normally operating or ... is in a state of ... is sounded by the sound generator 5 and the message is transmitted to the telephone set 9-1.
