PURPOSE:To prevent fuel cut completely during idle operation by updating a value for judging fuel cut to a value higher by proper amount based on an engine rotation upon judgement that an engine is in idling condition. CONSTITUTION:Signals detected through an intake tube pressure sensor 1, an intake temperature sensor 2, an accelerator releasing position detector 3 and a rotation detector 4 are inputted through an input processing circuit 6 and an A/D converter 7 in a control circuit 5 to CPU8. A drive circuit 11 controls a fuel injection valve 12 according to fuel injection data being fed from CPU8. CPU8 judges whether an engine is in idling condition based on signals being fed from at least the releasing position detector 3 and the rotation detector 4. If the engine is idling. fuel cut judging value is updated to a value higher by proper amount based on the engine rotation at that time.
