PURPOSE:To keep excellent anticorrosion effect by eliminating the conc. segregation of Zn in a paint composition, by adhering Zn to the surface of a particulate material having the same component as the matrix component of paint or having specific gravity lower than that of said matrix component. CONSTITUTION:Zn is extremely thinly adhered to a particulate material having the same component as a matrix or having specific gravity lower than that of said matrix. By this method, the specific gravity of the matrix and that of the Zn adhered particulate material are made same or nearly approximate to make it possible to obtain a paint composition wherein Zn is uniformly dispersed in the matrix without segregation. An electroless plating method is utilized in order to adhere Zn to the particulate material.
