PURPOSE:To relieve the work keyboard operation to register a keyword by editing a keyword information preliminarily, generating a code pattern proper to the edited keyword, printing the data on a recording paper, and reading the image. CONSTITUTION:At the time of registering a keyword information generated by a keyword generation means in a large-capacity recording medium, a pattern generation means is made generate a code pattern 43 proper to each keyword information. Further, thus generated code pattern 43 proper to each keyword information and an arbitrary identification pattern 42 are printed on a recording paper by an image output means, and an ID code sheet 41 for image reading means is obtained. As a result, without necessitating the complicated keyword input operation from a keyboard at the time of registering a document, large amount of document sheets can be efficiently registered with an arbitrary keyword automatically.
