PURPOSE:To cancel the inverting phenomenon due to side band emphasis caused by increased recording current through the suppression of side band, and to avoid remaining erasion of old signals due to jointed recording and insertion by increasing the recording current of new signals. CONSTITUTION:A luminance FM signal and a color signal from input terminals 1, 2 mixed at a Y/C mixer 3 are subjected to peaking only around 4MHz a carrier signal at a carrier peaking circuit 4, a changeover switch 7 is switched to a terminal (b) with an insertion control signal 8, and recording current is obtained in the form that the side band is increased while being suppressed, and this recording current is outputted from a recording amplifier 5 and flows to a recording head 6. Thus, the reamining erasion of color component of old signals can be erased without causing inverting phenomenon. |
