PURPOSE:To obtain the title printer capable of eliminating the visual variation of density and performing high grade printing, by obtaining the data causing the irregularity of a printing pitch in a sub-scanning direction and controlling the current supply time to a thermal head corresponding to said data. CONSTITUTION:A ROM table 9 sets the count value from a counter 8 to the position address of a platen roller 1 and supplies printing input data as the address of a lower rank bit from the position data. The data converted by the ROM table 9 is converted to current supply time data by a D-T converter 10 to be supplied to a line thermal head 11. By this method, a part generating printing pitch irregularity is printed so that the size of a dot is changed to that of other part and, therefore, the visual variation of density can be eliminated. |
