PURPOSE:To keep stably and surely for a long time the inner lining condition of an inner lining tube, by inserting an inner lining tube of thermoplastic resin and having shape retaining property in such a condition that it is being deformed in such a way that the outer diameter is reduced, and then heating and pressing the inner lining tube inserted in an objected tube from the inner face side to restore it to its original shape. CONSTITUTION:An inner lining tube 1 has an outer diameter which is roughly the same dimension as an inner diameter of an objected tube (a) and having a shape retaining property, and it keeps stable and surely an inner lining condition without applying and adhesive. When the inner lining operation is carried out on the objected tube (a), the inner lining tube 1 is deformed in such a way that the dimension of the outer diameter is reduced, and it is inserted into the objected tube (a) in a condition as a deformed inner lining tube 1'. The deforming treatment of the inner lining tube 1 is carried out in the order of a press-flatting treatment and a two-folding treatment to form the deformed lining tube 1'. The inner lining tube 1 is prepared of a thermoplastic synthetic resin and the deformation is usually carried out in a heated and softened condition by applying a heating means. When a heated and pressurized fluid is supplied in the deformed inner lining tube 1' from a feed opening 4a of a plug 4 at a starting end side, the deformed inner lining tube 1' is heated and softened and at the same time pressurized and thereby restored to its original shape. |
