PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution as well as to improve the stability of a time diversity communication system, by performing the time diversity without having the frame synchronism, detection of time slot, etc. CONSTITUTION:The data series 1 of the signal to be transmitted is referred to as ai ; the data series 2 of the signal to be actually transmitted from a signal transmitter is Ii, Qi ; and the data series 3 of the demodulated output signal to be delivered from a signal receiver respectively. These three data series have the same clock frequency fC. The ai is coded to Ii, Qi by a coder provided in the transmitter. The ai is allotted as it is to Ii , i.e., a series of one side of Ii, Qi . While a data series obtained by giving a delay of (n) bits to the series ai is allotted to Qi , i.e., the series of the other side. That is, Qi=Ai-n is satisfied. The transmitting data series Ii, Qi is transmitted by a quadruple digital modulation system. At the receiving side, the data series Ii, Qi is demodulated, and at the same time a receiving level 4 is detected to select Ii or Qi . |
