PURPOSE:To reduce heat accumulation in copy glass greatly and to perform large-quantity continuous operation by providing a filter which removes heat generated by a light source nearby the reverse surface of the copy glass and coating the surface with 'Teflon(R)'. CONSTITUTION:The transparent 'Teflon(R)' is formed on the top surface of the copy glass 1 and the infrared-ray removing filter 2 which removes infrared rays generated by the light source is fixed to a housing nearby the reverse surface of the copy glass 1. Consequently, light with >=800mm wavelength is all reflected by this filter and heat is discharged through an air vent of the housing without being accumulated in the copy glass 1; even if the temperature of the copy glass itself rises owing to heat which can not be removed and accumulated in the copy glass, glass, the ink, carbon, etc., of an original do not stick on the copy glass 1.
