<p>PURPOSE:To improve a life through prevention of damage of the resilient material of a shim plate and to improve workability by eliminating a burr removing manual work, by a method wherein an escape part for contact with the shim plate is formed to an inner peripheral part between the claw parts of the outer legs of a caliper through machining. CONSTITUTION:An outer leg part 13, where a forked claw part 13B is formed with an inverted U-shaped notch 13A, is situated to the other side of an inner leg part 12 containing a cylinder 12A of a caliper 11. In which case, a bore machining blade 15A and a chamfering blade 15B are attached to a bite 15 for machining a cylinder hole 12A', and are carried in a direction A to machine the cylinder hole 12A'. Thereafter, the blades are carried in a direction B to form an escape part 14 for contact with a shim plate 9 to the inner peripheral edge part between the forked claw parts 13B. This constitution prevents damage of a resilient material 9B of the shim plate 9 to improve a life, and enables workability by eliminating a burr removing manual work.</p> |
