PURPOSE:To improve the stability of a color developer, and to reduce the change of a photographic characteristics and the color stain of the tiled material, at the time of continuously processing the titled material by developing the titled material with a color developer contg. an aromatic primary amine color developing agent, specified brightening agent and an org, phosphonic acid type chelating agent. CONSTITUTION:The titled material is developed with the color developer contg. the aromatic primary amine color developing agent, at least one kind of the brightening agent shown by the formula, and at least one kind of the org. phosphonic acid type chelating agent. In the formula, R1 and R4 are each hydroxyl or alkoxy group, and the combination such as R1=R3 and R2=R4 or R1=R4 and R2=R3 does not present, M is a monovalent cation. Thus, the change of the photographic characteristic and the color stain of the titled material at the time of continuously processing said material with the developer having the reduced replenishing with rapid, are prevented. |
